Meet Dr. Alexandra McCallum

Dr. Alexandra McCallum, Dr. Alex for short, is a Texas native, who moved to Chicago in March of 2020. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Business Administration. She went on to receive her dental education from the UT School of Dentistry in Houston, where she graduated in the Top 10 of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Alex has a friendly demeanor which sets even her most nervous patients at ease. She enjoys building relationships with each patient and caring for everyone like family. Dentistry is constantly changing and evolving, and Dr. Alex keeps knowledgeable on the latest materials, techniques, and technologies through regular continuing education courses.
Dr. Alex is an active member of:

• the Chicago Dental Society

Dr. Alex’s own personal experiences in the dental chair were life changing. She decided to pursue a career as a dentist so that she could give others the same confidence that dentistry gave her. She values each opportunity to better her patients’ lives through improved oral health and brighter smiles.

In her free time, she enjoys playing with her labradoodle Tucker, trying new restaurants with her husband Darius, reading, and exploring the city.
