Meet Dr. Tina Smith

Dr. Tina Smith had the pleasure of following in her father and uncle’s footsteps into the dental industry. She attended the University of Illinois Chicago, where she graduated with a B.S in dentistry and later obtained her D.D.S.
Dr. Smith can always be found participating in continuing education courses throughout the year, not only because it is mandatory, but she truly has a passion for it! It allows her to stay current with technologies and treatment options for the best possible results for her patients. The professional organizations Dr. Smith am involved with include:
- Past President of Northwest Suburban Branch of Chicago Dental Society
- Illinois State Dental Society
- American Dental Association
- Volunteer for Donated Dental Services for the handicapped and disabled
Dr. Smith understands that many people find going to the dentist a stressful experience so she focuses on giving 100% of her attention to make sure her patients feel at home and their experience is a pleasant one. Dr. Smith looks forward to spending more time with her husband and family as she passes the practice over to Dr. Kenny Gomolplitinant.
Dr. Smith met her husband, Vince Arpino, in dental school. He is an orthodontist in Libertyville. They have one son, Vincent, who is currently a CPA.
