David R. Baldare, DDS

David R. Baldare, DDS, grew up on Chicago’s Northwest Side and attended Loyola University Lakeshore. Following his true calling, he returned to school and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1988.
Before dentistry, Dr. Baldare worked as a mechanical engineer for companies including Midway Manufacturing and Zenith. That rare combination of engineering and clinical training gives him a distinctive perspective—one that brings both precision and creativity to every aspect of patient care.
After more than a decade running a solo practice in Chicago, Dr. Baldare relocated to the suburbs. He joined his Arlington Heights practice as a partner in 2000 and acquired it outright in 2003.
With nearly four decades of experience, Dr. Baldare still genuinely loves what he does and treats every patient like family. He’s particularly passionate about root canal treatment and cosmetic dentistry, and is certified in both Invisalign® and CEREC. He stays current with the latest techniques and materials through continuing education and is continually energized by how far dental technology has advanced and the remarkable results it enables today.
Dr. Baldare is proud to be part of the Handcrafted Smiles family, where he looks forward to serving the Arlington Heights community and his many longtime patients for years to come.
Outside the office, Dr. Baldare lives in Arlington Heights with his family. You’ll likely find him on a bike trail, in the kitchen, on the golf course, in the garden, or tinkering in the garage.
